Karin Yien, MD, has joined Nordic Naturals, Watsonville, CA, as chief medical advisor. She will be responsible for facilitating ongoing human clinical trials using Nordic Naturals products, interfacing with healthcare practitioners, and developing research-based educational materials for professionals and consumers. She previously worked with several integrative medicine clinics, such as the Los Angeles Healing Arts Center and Pritikin Longevity Center, where she served as a general practitioner and clinical health educator.
